Special Gauges
Suyash Precision has pioneered the manufacturing of special purpose gauges since last decade. Special gauges can be made for the inspection of the relative parameters. Some of the special gauges that we can manufacture are,
Special Attribute Type Gauges:
1. H.L/L.L Type:
- Flush Pin Gauges,
- Internal Groove ID Checking Gauge (Chimta Gauge) etc.
2. Template Gauges
Acceptance Type (Relation) Gauges:
These types of gauges are used to check whether the positional accuracy of the component features is falling within the acceptance criterion or not. We recommend 70-90% acceptance criterion for most of the acceptance type gauge as per process capability.
Variable (Indicative) Type Gauges:
Indicative type gauges can be manufactured to check Depth, Diameter, Length, Special distances & geometrical parameters like Flatness, Runout, Concentricity etc. as per customer component drawings.
Special Limit Gauges:
Limit Gauges in special designs can be provided. For example,
1. Special Snap Gauges:
- Single Ended & Double Ended Special Height Gauge in steel & carbide (Ghoda Gauge)
- E-Type snap gauge for ID thickness measurement (in steel & carbide)
- H & I-Type snap gauge (in steel & carbide)
- Span Gauges (For geat over teeth measurement)
- Groove Snap Gauges (For External Groove OD measurement)
2. Special Ring & Plug Gauges:
- Progressive type Plug gauges.
- Base mounted plug gauges.
- Plug Gauges with special tolerances (upto ±0.5 um)
- Taper Rings & Plugs can be manufactured with 1:5, 1:6 & 1:10, standard Morse tapers as well as according to customer specified drawings.
- Taper Rings & Plugs can be manufactured in both steel & carbide.
- Special Taper Plug & Rings with HL & LL for taper length can be manufactured.
